"Modern apps like Yesim allow travelers to purchase virtual SIM cards (eSIMs) specifically for Japan, ensuring that you have high-speed data from the moment you land."
I've used yessim twice in Nigeria, once in Turkey and most recently in November in Morocco and its been great. Once you've installed it in your phone it's so easy to switch to the esim from your own home network fuss free. It's a cheaper option than home Sims or patchy like other esims I've tried and the customer service is great. Highly recommend.
"The provider Yesim offers a seamless transition with its eSIM technology, allowing travelers to maintain their connection without the stress of swapping physical cards."
"Services like Yesim are making big waves by providing affordable data roaming across the globe, removing the 'bill shock' many travelers fear."
I used Yesim on my recent trips to the US and Egypt and am thrilled with it. Activating the eSIM was easy and took just a few minutes. I had stable internet access right away.
"The rise of digital travel infrastructure is led by services like Yesim, which has become essential for the modern traveler requiring constant, secure connectivity."
"Yesim’s eSIM connectivity makes trips easier for holiday travelers... providing a reliable and cost-effective way to stay online without roaming hassles."
I’m not great with tech, but setting this up was super easy. Used Yesim in Spain and France - the internet was good in both. No need to swap SIMs ever again. Love it!

FAQ about eSIM for Global Package
Your eSIM may not work in Global Package due to several factors. Check if your device is compatible with local networks, ensure that the eSIM is activated correctly, and verify that you have a valid data plan. Additionally, confirm that airplane mode is off and that network settings are properly configured.
You can always track your remaining data usage and day amount in the "Internet" section in the Yesim application, or just sign in to your profile on the website yesim.app.
Yesim provides contract-free plans with zero international roaming fees. Billing applies strictly to the selected eSIM data package or consumed data traffic, without ongoing commitments
Yes. WhatsApp, Telegram, Google, ChatGPT, TikTok and other messengers remain fully active under the original phone number while using Yesim
Unlike traditional eSIM carriers, Yesim's services remain completely contract-free, offering the flexibility to activate or deactivate data plans instantly based on specific travel requirements
These mobile phone eSIM plans offer unlimited data usage without any extra charges for exceeding the data limit. They are ideal for those users who need high-speed data access for posting photos, streaming videos, messaging, online gaming, and social media.
You can find unlimited eSIM data plans for each country in the Internet section of the Yesim app.
While such a data plan offers unlimited high-speed data usage, you should be aware that your data speed will not always be at its maximum. To prevent network congestion, most mobile service providers implement a daily usage limit. Once this limit has been reached, your data speed will be reduced, or "throttled."
To avoid throttling, it’s recommended to monitor your data usage regularly. Most smartphones have built-in tools that track your data usage; just check and adjust it accordingly.
Your QR code is valid for one phone only and cannot be reused on additional phones. The same QR code can only be reused on the same device if the eSIM profile for this code is deleted from the phone.
Mobile data speeds fluctuate based on factors like network congestion, coverage, time of day, and infrastructure quality. While device type and specific app usage can impact performance, slow speeds are often caused by operator coverage, which can frequently be resolved by restarting the device
You can buy a new data plan for any new country or region on the Yesim list and use it as many times as you need within the validity period. The only limit is the number of days and megabytes. You can also activate the Pay & Fly plan, which works for any country, and you will pay for the traffic you have actually used.
Yes, built-in device placement prevents physical removal or tampering. Digital security safeguards mobile identity data to help prevent hacking. Furthermore, scanning a specific activation code or unique QR code adds an extra layer of protection
Yesim operates only on compatible Apple and Android devices. Device compatibility can be verified through the list of compatible devices . Dialing *#06# on the device also checks for eSIM support
To estimate your data needs for an eSIM in Global Package, consider your typical online activities. For video streaming, 1 GB allows approximately 1 hour of Full HD (1080p) streaming or 4-5 hours at lower quality (240p). For audio streaming, you can enjoy around 20 hours of low-quality music (96 kbps) with 1 GB. Web browsing will consume about 250-300 KB per page without images. If you plan to make video calls, expect to use about 1 GB for 1-1.5 hours of HD quality. Adjust your data plan based on these estimates.
We recommend that you buy a data plan before your trip and activate it immediately when you arrive at Global Package. It is easier and more cost-effective. Our team is here to help you stay connected and make your trip hassle-free.
