Check reviews about eSIM service from Yesim
"Yesim features a unique plan: the International eSIM, where users only pay for the data they use in over 140 countries."
"Modern apps like Yesim allow travelers to purchase virtual SIM cards (eSIMs) specifically for Japan, ensuring that you have high-speed data from the moment you land."
I've used yessim twice in Nigeria, once in Turkey and most recently in November in Morocco and its been great. Once you've installed it in your phone it's so easy to switch to the esim from your own home network fuss free. It's a cheaper option than home Sims or patchy like other esims I've tried and the customer service is great. Highly recommend.
"The provider Yesim offers a seamless transition with its eSIM technology, allowing travelers to maintain their connection without the stress of swapping physical cards."
"Services like Yesim are making big waves by providing affordable data roaming across the globe, removing the 'bill shock' many travelers fear."
I used Yesim on my recent trips to the US and Egypt and am thrilled with it. Activating the eSIM was easy and took just a few minutes. I had stable internet access right away.
"The rise of digital travel infrastructure is led by services like Yesim, which has become essential for the modern traveler requiring constant, secure connectivity."
"Yesim’s eSIM connectivity makes trips easier for holiday travelers... providing a reliable and cost-effective way to stay online without roaming hassles."
I’m not great with tech, but setting this up was super easy. Used Yesim in Spain and France - the internet was good in both. No need to swap SIMs ever again. Love it!

FAQ about virtual SIM cards from Yesim
An eSIM is an embedded SIM, also known as a digital SIM card, electronic SIM card, or virtual SIM card. This cloud-based technology eliminates the need for a physical SIM card, allowing you to activate and manage multiple cellular plans and providers on a single device. It is perfect for adding an extra data line when travelling abroad or separating data plans for personal and business purposes
Connection requires adjusting the device settings: – Navigate to Mobile Data. – Turn on the Yesim mobile line. – Enable Data Roaming. – Select the Yesim line as the primary connection. Note: Selecting the "Remove Data Plan" option deletes the eSIM profile
Prepaid eSIM plans provide data-only solutions and do not include a mobile phone number. Voice calls and text messages require internet-based communication applications, such as WhatsApp, Viber, or Messenger. This alternative prevents the need for physical international SIM cards
Yesim operates only on compatible Apple and Android devices. Device compatibility can be verified through the list of compatible devices . Dialing *#06# on the device also checks for eSIM support
The eSIM data plan duration (validity period) begins immediately after purchase completion, installation and connecting to a compatible network in your destination country
Refunds are available within 30 days of the purchase date for unused data plans and top-ups. Used or expired plans are non-refundable. Ycoins are non-refundable except in cases of confirmed technical malfunctions. Refund requests must be sent to info@yesim.app or submitted via the in-app contact form. Support reviews each request to provide further instructions. Complete guidelines are available in the refund policy
You can easily use your Yesim profile to share mobile data with other devices. All you need to do is install the Yesim profile on your device and turn on Personal Hotspot in the settings. This feature is enabled by default on your account, and there are no additional fees for using it, though any data used while tethered will be deducted from your plan.
Each QR code works only on a single device. The eSIM profile cannot be reused on another device, or on the same device once deleted. This security measure protects the activation code
Top-ups are available anytime through the application. Automated push notifications and emails arrive when data consumption reaches 70%, allowing immediate account top-ups. Multiple payment options ensure easy checkout
Ycoins are internal coins displayed in the selected account currency. Balances automatically convert if the display currency changes, while the underlying value remains identical. Ycoins apply toward data plan purchases or pay-as-you-go connection models. Inviting friends via the in-app referral program also generates Ycoins
Yes, built-in device placement prevents physical removal or tampering. Digital security safeguards mobile identity data to help prevent hacking. Furthermore, scanning a specific activation code or unique QR code adds an extra layer of protection
Yes. WhatsApp, Telegram, Google, ChatGPT, TikTok and other messengers remain fully active under the original phone number while using Yesim
Transferring an eSIM requires verifying compatibility on the new device and contacting support to generate a new profile. Logging into the Yesim app allows installation of the replacement QR code, requiring confirmation that a new phone is being used to update settings correctly
Unlike traditional eSIM carriers, Yesim's services remain completely contract-free, offering the flexibility to activate or deactivate data plans instantly based on specific travel requirements
Yesim provides contract-free plans with zero international roaming fees. Billing applies strictly to the selected eSIM data package or consumed data traffic, without ongoing commitments
Mobile data speeds fluctuate based on factors like network congestion, coverage, time of day, and infrastructure quality. While device type and specific app usage can impact performance, slow speeds are often caused by operator coverage, which can frequently be resolved by restarting the device
Direct local network partnerships in over 200 destinations provide cost-effective data plans while eliminating intermediary costs. Global coverage includes unlimited data options, virtual number choices, and an in-app referral system, delivering flexible, easy-to-activate solutions for international travel
Yesim delivers fast, reliable mobile data with instant activation, removing the need for a physical SIM card. Flexible, prepaid eSIM data plans for Popular destinations adapt perfectly to varying travel durations and data requirements. Available plan options for Popular destinations feature:
• Prepaid fixed mobile data plans • Prepaid unlimited mobile data plans
